How it all started...
The MedDrop team met in Georgia Tech's Create-X Capstone class, a Georgia Tech initiative to instill entrepreneurial confidence in students and empower them to launch successful startups. The broader goal of this initiative is to provide the knowledge, skills, abilities, and experiences that will give Georgia Tech graduates the confidence to create their own future and confidently pursue entrepreneurial opportunities. MedDrop is a multidisciplinary team with a variety of backgrounds including Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science.

At the Georgia Tech Senior Design Capstone Expo, team MedDrop was awarded an InVenture Prize & Create-X Startup Launch Golden Ticket. These awards are granted to the teams with the most impressive and innovative Capstone Design Projects during the Expo. As a Golden Ticket winner, the MedDrop team was granted an automatic position in the semi-final round of the 2022 InVenture Prize and a fast-pass through the interview stage of Georgia Tech’s prestigious Create-X Startup Launch program. This allows the team the opportunity to innovate past their graduation from Georgia Tech, and they couldn't be more excited!
